Cerro San Cristóbal (Chile)

 

Cerro San Cristóbal, cerro ubicado en la ciudad de Santiago, capital de Chile. Con 880 msnm y una prominencia de 280 metros, es el segundo punto de mayor altura de la ciudad, siendo superado sólo por el cerro Renca. El cerro se encuentra entre las comunas de Providencia y Recoleta, teniendo a sus pies al Barrio Bellavista.

El cerro San Cristóbal es parte de un conjunto de montañas, junto a los cerros Chacarillas, La Pirámide y Los Gemelos, que forman parte del Parque Metropolitano de Santiago, el parque urbano más grande del mundo, con más de 722 hectáreas de extensión.

San Cristobal Hill in the city of Santiago, capital of Chile. 880 meters and a prominence of 280 meters, is the second highest point of the city, surpassed only by the Renca hill. The hill is located between the districts of Providencia and Recoleta, with their feet to Barrio Bellavista.

Cerro San Cristobal is part of a mountain range, next to the Chacarillas, Pyramid and Los Gemelos hills, part of the Metropolitan Park of Santiago, the world's largest urban park, with more than 722 hectares.
